Happy Valentines day everyone! I hope everyone has finished making those Valentines for the students at Hiland Hall School because everyone needs to make at least 5. Get crafty and creative, but everyone will love them no matter what. At Hiland Hall, we always have a party complete with a dandy tea party and a hand out of valentines. The party starts in the afternoon! Happy Valentines day!

We had our first town of the year last friday. For the new parents town is a game that we play about once a month throughout the year. Every student has a store or lives in a house. We all get play money and spend it at the stores. This year we have a yarn store, a bakery, a cafe, a bank, a post office, and much more. We also have a town newspaper written by the Middle School.

If I remember correctly, Middle School has been making a Haunted House since my second year at Hiland Hall. Since this is my fifth year, this will be our third annual Haunted House.
We are still in the early planing stages, so we are not sure exactly what it will look like yet.
We’ll keep posting as more details are uncovered!

This week the Middle schoolers presented their presentation to each other. Early next week Middle School is going to do a presentation for the elementary group. These presentations are going to be about the Golden Age and the Heroic Age of Ancient Greece.
